Obituary for Jenny
Mrs. Jenny A. (Mancuso) Behan, 93, of Utica, passed away, Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Sitrin Health Care Center, in New Hartford, with her family at her side.
Born in Utica, June 13, 1928, Jenny was a daughter of the late John C. and Jennie (Massi) Mancuso. Jenny was raised and educated in Utica, attending Utica Free Academy (U.F.A.) and T. R. Proctor High School. On July 21, 1984, she was united in marriage to John Henry Behan, with whom she shared a union blessed with over 30 years of true commitment. Mr. Behan passed away on September 19, 2014.
Jenny is survived by many cousins, including, Rocco and Patricia DePerno; and many special friends, including, Karen Kuznia. and Maria. She was preceded in death by her brother, Louis A. Mancuso.
In keeping with Jenny’s wishes, there is no public visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service Saturday afternoon at 1:00, at Historic Old St. John’s Church, where her mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Jenny’s family will receive visitors in church immediately following the funeral service. Those attending must wear a mask covering their nose and mouth. Interment will take place in St. Agnes Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adrean Funeral Service, Inc., Utica.
The concern displayed by the nurses, aides and entire staff of Sitrin Health Care Center’s Sycamore House was of much comfort to Jenny and her family.
