Obituary for Diane L. "De De" Brindisi (Klingon)
Mrs. Diane L. (Klingon) Brindisi, age 73, currently of Florida and formerly of Whitesboro, NY passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Trustbridge Hospice in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
She was born in the Bronx on January 14, 1948 a daughter of the late Joseph and Alberta “Betty” (Brown) Klingon. Mrs. Brindisi was raised and educated in the Bronx, where she graduated from Walton High School. It was in St. Agnes Church, on May 25, 1968 that she married Thomas A. “Tom” Brindisi. Mr. Brindisi passed away on August 10, 2016 after 48 years of marriage.
Surviving are her children and their spouses, Thomas A. and Kathy Brindisi of Newport, NY, Karen A. DeTraglia and John DeTraglia of Clinton, Ronald J. Brindisi and his companion Julie White both of New Hartford, Christine Brindisi of Utica, and Steven M. Brindisi and his fiancée’ Brenda Pabis of Whitesboro; her grandchildren, Jessica and Justin Boyanton, Danielle Brindisi and her fiancé, Javan Norris, Thomas Brindisi and his fiancée, Rebecca Salm, Kelcey and Nathan George, David Leshinski, James and Maria Klosek, Thomas and Lindsay Klosek, Danny and Elyssa DeTraglia, Emilee Rose Brindisi, Vincent Brindisi, and Anthony Brindisi Reyes; great-grandchildren, Bryson Boyanton, Braden Boyanton, Lincoln Klosek, Mack Klosek, Madeline Klosek, and Silas George, She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and in-laws Sandra Grounds and her fiancée, Charles DaPice, Pasquale Brindisi, Jr. and Tom Caruso all of Utica and many special friends, including, Terry Pugliese and Carol Blake. She was preceded in death by a brother Edward Klingon and her loving boyfriend, Randy Rueger with whom she resided.
In keeping with Diane’s wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral services.
