Obituary for Mary E. Williams

Mary E. Williams, age 62, of Utica, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, with her family at her side.
She was born in Utica, NY on November 15, 1955, the daughter of the late Captain William Owen Williams, UPD, and Rosemary (Owens) Williams. Mary was raised and educated in local schools.
Surviving are her siblings and their spouses, Linda A. Williams of Utica, Ellen Margaret Williams of Florida, David O. Williams and his companion Oscar Calvo both of North Syracuse, Chief Mark Williams, UPD, and his wife, Sherree Excell-Williams of New Hartford, and Investigator, William R. Williams, UPD and his wife, Marnie Trinkaus-Williams of Utica. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In keeping with Mary’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service and celebration of life which will be held on Friday afternoon, at 1:00 at Grace Episcopal Church, 6 Elizabeth Street, Utica, New York, where her Funeral Service will be offered. The Williams family will receive visitors in church immediately following Mary’s funeral service. Interment will take place in New Forest Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adrean Funeral Service, Inc., 700 Rutger Street, corner of Mohawk Street, Utica, NY.
Mary’s family wishes to extend their thanks to the nurses and staff of St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Hospice and Palliative Care for the compassion and special attention that was displayed to Mary and her family during this very difficult time.
Please consider memorial contributions in Mary’s memory to the, Christine A. Trinkaus Cancer Awareness Foundation. Envelopes will be available at Church.
