Obituary for Frances A. Talarico

Mrs. Frances A. Talarico, age 100, formerly of 747 Elizabeth Street passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, April 15, 2018 with her loving family at her side.
She was born in Utica, on February 13, 1918, a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Congetta Arcuri. Frances was raised and educated locally and proudly graduated with the first class of T. R. Proctor High School. On May 3, 1941, she married the love of her life, Caesar R. Talarico. Mr. Talarico passed away on April 28, 2005, after over 63 years of marriage. A devout catholic, Frances was a communicant of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish and at one time had been active in the St. Agnes School Mothers Club.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Wayne VanDeusen, of Saratoga Springs, NY; Two sons and daughters-in-law, Norman and Anne Talarico, of New Hartford and Joseph and Maria Talarico, of Utica; five cherished grandchildren: Angela Talarico, Francesca and Elvis Sabanagic, Joseph and Deanna Talarico, Andrew Talarico, and Anthony Talarico; three great-grandchildren, Noelle, Luca, and Adriana; a great-granddaughter on the way; and several cousins, especially acknowledging, Francesca Grimmer and Joseph Mastroianni. Also surviving is the Piazza family, whose continued love and support was of great comfort to Frances. She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
In keeping with Frances’ wishes there will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11:00 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish. Entombment will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family, in their private mausoleum.
